Keep Docs: Document Scanner

Welcome to Keep Docs: Document Scanner, a document scanning and management application developed by Anant Visuals. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Keep Docs mobile application and related services.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Keep Docs, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the application.

1. About Keep Docs

Keep Docs is a document scanning and management application designed to help users digitize and manage physical documents using their Android devices.

The application may provide features including:

  • Scanning documents using the device camera.
  • Viewing scanned documents and images.
  • Organizing documents into folders.
  • Saving documents as images or PDF files.
  • Sharing documents with other applications.
  • Searching and managing saved documents.
  • App Lock and device-supported biometric authentication.
  • Google Sign-In.
  • Optional backup and restore using Google Drive.

2. Eligibility and Acceptable Use

You may use Keep Docs only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws.

You agree that you will not:

  • Use Keep Docs for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
  • Use the application to violate another person's privacy or rights.
  • Attempt to interfere with, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the application or its services.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, decompile, or misuse the application except where permitted by applicable law.
  • Use the application to store, distribute, or share content that is illegal or violates the rights of others.

3. Your Documents and Content

You retain ownership of documents, images, and other content that you create, scan, save, or manage using Keep Docs.

You are solely responsible for the documents and content you store, scan, export, back up, or share through the application.

You should only scan, store, or share documents when you have the necessary rights or authorization to do so.

Anant Visuals does not claim ownership of your personal documents or the content you create using Keep Docs.

4. Google Sign-In

Keep Docs may allow you to sign in using your Google Account. Google Sign-In is provided through Google's authentication services.

Your use of Google services is also subject to Google's applicable terms, policies, and privacy practices.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google Account and for any activity performed through your account.

5. Google Drive Backup and Restore

Keep Docs may provide an optional backup and restore feature using Google Drive. This feature is intended to help you synchronize or restore your Keep Docs data through your Google Account.

Google Drive backup is optional. You may choose whether to use this feature.

Backup and restore functionality depends on the availability and proper operation of Google's services. Anant Visuals does not control Google's infrastructure, availability, policies, or service interruptions.

You are responsible for maintaining access to the Google Account used for backup and restore.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of Keep Docs is also governed by our Privacy Policy .

The Privacy Policy explains how Keep Docs handles information, including information associated with Google Sign-In, optional Google Drive backup, app usage, and other data processed by the application.

Please read the Privacy Policy carefully before using Keep Docs.

7. Document Sharing

Keep Docs may allow you to share documents using Android's sharing functionality or other applications installed on your device.

Once you choose to share a document with another application, service, person, or platform, that recipient or third-party service may process the shared content according to its own terms and privacy policies.

You are responsible for choosing the appropriate recipient and for ensuring that you have permission to share the document.

8. App Lock and Biometric Authentication

Keep Docs may provide an App Lock feature using supported device security mechanisms such as biometric authentication or device credentials.

The security of biometric authentication and device credentials is provided by the Android operating system and your device manufacturer.

You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for not allowing unauthorized persons to access your device or security credentials.

9. Advertisements and Third-Party Services

Keep Docs may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising services.

Third-party services, including Google services and advertising services, operate independently and may have their own terms, policies, and privacy practices.

Anant Visuals is not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.

10. Service Availability

We aim to keep Keep Docs available and functional, but we do not guarantee that the application or any particular feature will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

The application may occasionally become unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, device limitations, network issues, or third-party service interruptions.

11. Backups and Data Loss

Although Keep Docs may provide backup and restore functionality, you should maintain your own appropriate copies of important documents.

Anant Visuals does not guarantee that every document, backup, or restoration will always be successful or available.

Data may be affected by device failure, accidental deletion, operating system changes, storage problems, account issues, network failures, third-party service interruptions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Keep Docs should not be considered the sole storage location for critical, legal, financial, educational, business, or other important documents.

12. Intellectual Property

The Keep Docs application, including its software, interface, branding, logos, graphics, design elements, text, and other original materials, is owned by or licensed to Anant Visuals unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, modify, or create derivative works from the application or its proprietary materials without appropriate authorization, except where permitted by applicable law.

13. Application Updates and Changes

We may update, modify, improve, add, remove, or discontinue features of Keep Docs from time to time.

Updates may be provided through Google Play or other supported distribution mechanisms.

Some features may require a newer version of the application or a compatible Android version.

14. Disclaimer

Keep Docs is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

While we make reasonable efforts to maintain the application, we do not guarantee that the application will be completely free from errors, interruptions, security vulnerabilities, or data loss.

You use the application at your own discretion and risk.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Anant Visuals shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from or related to your use of Keep Docs.

This includes, where legally permitted, loss of data, loss of documents, loss of access, interruption of service, or reliance on backup or restore functionality.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

16. Account and Access

Certain features may require Google Sign-In. You may stop using Keep Docs at any time.

You are responsible for maintaining access to the account and device that you use with Keep Docs.

If you remove the application, sign out, or delete your locally stored documents, you may lose access to information that has not been backed up or otherwise saved.

17. Termination

You may stop using Keep Docs at any time.

Anant Visuals may restrict or discontinue access to features or services where reasonably necessary to protect the application, users, security, legal compliance, or the integrity of the service.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to Keep Docs, applicable laws, features, services, or business practices.

When changes are made, the updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.

Your continued use of Keep Docs after the updated Terms are published means that you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

19. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of India, subject to any mandatory consumer protection or other legal rights that apply to you.
